Ensuring the safety of aircraft is your number one priority as an air traffic controller. To do so, you must understand separation minima and procedures and be able to apply these procedures accurately and quickly.
The following eLearning activity will allow you to identify clearances that ensure separation. You will review flight scenarios and then answer questions and select appropriate flight strip solutions to ensure separation. In addition, by viewing 3D animations of answer choices, you will be able to practice conceptualizing protected airspace and traffic.
For the purposes of this exercise, do not be concerned with getting control/restricting for boundaries or coordination.
